We would like to congratulate Mr. Karima Gore for his outstanding all-around performance with both bat and ball which assisted in helping Liberta Black Hawks successfully defend their championship. Gore scored 148 runs with an average of 49.33 and a strike rate of 164.44. He was also one of the leading wicket-takers with 7 scalps at an average of 9.57 and an economy rate of 3.94 an over.
He was named man of the match in the finals with a swashbuckling 46 runs from 30 balls to help Black Hawks to set a good total on board. He then destroyed the hopes and dreams of the Bethesda Golden Eagles with his first three balls of his very first over and the first over of their innings. West Indies batsman Devon Thomas was bowled the first ball and two balls later Deran Benta was caught trapped leg before for nought. He ended with figures of 3 for 9. Thanks to our sponsor for making the Player of the Week Award possible.
